Regulations, land & installation

Before ordering a Nöma habitat, three questions come up systematically: do I need a permit? is my land suitable? how does installation work? Here are concrete answers.

Planning permission or prior declaration?

This depends on floor area and how long the habitat will be installed. Below certain thresholds, a simple prior declaration is enough; beyond that, planning permission is required. Your local town hall’s planning department confirms which rule applies, Service-Public.fr (the French government portal) details the surface thresholds.

Where can a Nöma habitat be installed?

Feasibility depends on the local urban planning document (PLU), the plot’s accessibility for transport and installation, and the regulation applicable to your project’s size. Our site assessment checks these elements before manufacturing begins.
